BIO

Dan Logoluso, born in Milan on 22 April 1979, began playing the guitar at age 16 and he performs soon at local shows and music festivals of the country.

Immediately the love of music and desire to improve led him to grow musically, first studying with several tutors and than enrolling at the academy Lizard (Italy - Florence) graduated in Rock Guitar in 2003 after only two years of study with the score 27/30. 

Later, after obtaining the Diploma of arrangement for 5 instruments, brass section (trumpet, sax alto, tenor, baritone, trombone) at the CEMM of Bussero (Italy - Milan) with master Giovanni Tommaso, he continues his studies by attending the Professional Jazz Course at the CEMM 2003-2005 with Andrea Vendramin and from 2011 to 2013 under the leadership of Walter Donatiello.

During his studies he participated in workshops of artists like Malmsteen, Fabio Casali, Cris proctor, Mike Keneally, Neil Zaza, Massimo Varini, Luca Colombo, Bryan Beller, Kiko Loureiro.

 

Professional Experiences

Decades of experience in studio and live shows with solo artists and cover bands of Northern Italy as the "Quinta Symphonya" playing on stages like the Rolling Stone in Milan, as the Miradavaga band with the "Concerto Verticale" (a show that combined music and breathtaking images and videos projected on big screen of movie theaters affecting activities of "Ragni di Lecco"), as the Eisernmann (tribute to Rammstein) on stages like the "Live" Trezzo and the Rock'n Roll of Bolzano as a substitute, the Timesword ( Original songs) guests in the program “Salaprove” by Mario Riso and at international festivals such as "Elements of Rock" and "Immortal Sphere" as Headliner.

Since 2005 Guitarist and producer of Timesword, progressive metal band publishing a Full Lenght "Chains of Sin" on March 5 of 2010 with a worldwide distribution under the German label 7hard, with a special guest on two tracks the bassist "Bryan Beller" already with Steve Vai, James Labrie, Guthrie Govan, Joe Satriani, Dweezil Zappa.

Since 2006: teacher of modern guitar at various music schools of the province of Milan.

From 2013 he played in an acoustic duo with different singers bringing his show "guitar/loop station and voice" in Northern Italy and Sardinia with instantaneous and unusual arrangements of famous songs.

 

 

 

Last 13 May he has released his first solo album "Back from a Journey", 10 melodic songs inspired by the great guitar players like Andy Timmons, Steve Vai, Kiko Loureiro, John Petrucci.

On drums the great John Macaluso (Yngwie Malmsteen, James Labrie, ARK, TNT, Jennifer Batten).
